Steven Thomas
I build websites by hand, properly.
For small businesses: a site where a customer can see the work you do, the areas you cover, and send you a job from their phone.
What I do
-
Build a site, by hand
For a business with no website yet, a holding page where one should be, or a site that has run its course. No page builder and no template bent into shape. It is written for your business, and it is quick to load.
-
Fix the one you have
A site that has gone down, a security warning in the browser, links that lead to a page not found, pictures that do not load, a page that only fits a desktop screen. I find the cause and put it right.
-
Make it easy to reach you
A short quote request form or a WhatsApp button, added to the site you already have, so a customer can get hold of you straight from the page.
If I emailed you
I spend a lot of time looking at the websites of small businesses. When I find something specific, a site that will not load, a security warning, a link that goes nowhere, a page that is hard to read on a phone, or no website at all, I write, say what I found and ask you about it.
There is no mailing list and no newsletter. Reply with the word stop and you will not hear from me again.
Often what I found is a small job, and I can do it for you. Sometimes the better answer is a new site, and I build those too. Either way, a one line reply is all it takes to hear more.
